Busy Times
These are exciting times at Lost Creek. New products launching, a drawing board packed with “what’s next”, and some emerging technologies that promise to change the way we do business moving forward. It’s enough to make us a bit giddy. But we keep moving forward because these days if you are standing still, you are falling behind.
LoanFront
Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most powerful. Since everything else in the world is online, why not make an online loan officer? It would do everything that a real loan officer does, except on the web, and let consumers shop for their best loan options. Banks process more loans with less recources, consumers take as long as they want to find just the right loan for them, and we move a technology-adverse industry forward. Everybody wins.
The final product surpassed even our lofty expectations for it. It is connected to real time rates, real world underwriting rules, and all the same state and county data loan officers use in their calculations. Now banks can offer the same online convenience everyone else does, and do it in with no major IT investment. LoanFront is a genuine revolution in the mortgage refinance industry- and we couldn’t be happier with it.
Now What?
Of course no good deed goes unpunished, so we now have to meet the high bar we have set for ourselves with LoanFront. But we think the next projects we are working on hold just as much promise. An analytic tool to allow banks to see how different choices they make affect the bottom line, online help desk services, and rich internet applications are all on the drawing board. Like the song says, the future is so bright, we have to wear shades.
